nikola tamindzic's photos

nikola is the photographer behind Ambrel.net. i’m not much of a photographer but i do have an appreciation for shooting at night, which he seemed to have a talent for (among other things). the subjects of his nightlife photography are pretty crazy and i suspect that the photos wouldn’t’ve been the same had someone else done them. some of his photos at random, in moleskine.

memory god

while i’m not quite losing my hair, my memory seems to be fading at an alarming rate. perhaps that’s why i have some strange interest in these creatures. they’re probably smarter than i am on average too, relatively speaking. it’s sad to me that their only natural predators are humans. loxodonta africana in moleskine.

mister misery

i hadn’t posted anything in colour in a while so here’s something i suppose, albeit still monochromatic. soon to change, hopefully! it seems like he had a lot of problems but he was a hell of a guitarist and songwriter regardless of his general happiness. it’s interesting that he had enough material that a couple of posthumous albums have been released…and still might be? i’ll definitely pick them up if they do. elliott smith in moleskine.

sisters card

here’s my sorry attempt at graphic design. it was just a card i created based on a drawing i did of my sister…for my sister’s birthday. it was a rush job (no excuse though, ha ha) but she liked it…that’s all that matters, right?!!?? it was fun trying to come up with something though. i suppose that’s further proof that maybe i would enjoy doing something else for a living…or on the side, ha ha.

gondolier

these guys charge a mint to take you out for a few minutes while making some ripples and waves. still, you’re in such lovely surroundings so at least that helps. venetian gondola driver in moleskine.

santorinian walkway

this place is definitely one of the most beautiful places i’ve ever been too, if only briefly. i’m guessing that few people actually live in the parts with the most stunning vistas and it must be damn expensive to vacation there but man is it nice! santorini in moleskine.

thom yorke

i can’t say enough about this wonky eyed man. i’d have almost no faith in music without him and his band. his solo stuff is pretty damn good too. radiohead‘s frontman in moleskine.

phil selway

he once moonlighted as a wyrd sister. his timing (on and off beat) is amazing, just listen to pyramid songradiohead‘s drummer in moleskine.

ed obrien

i believe he came up with the riff for street spirit. ace. radiohead‘s guitarist in moleskine.

jonny greenwood

the quiet one. i think. he plays and writes some mean music. one of the best things about there will be blood was the score. quite the “no wonder!” moment when i saw who wrote the music when the credits rolled.
