i haven’t bothered taking any photos in quite some time. i blame the weather. a trip to a zoo and nature conservatory helped squelch that though. i have mixed feelings about my ability with a camera. having talked to some amateur and professional photographers, it sounds simpler coming from them than it seems to me. i have to admit that i have not taken the time to really understand what all the blasted settings and configurations do for a photo so that probably doesn’t help my cause. add yet another thing to that good old list of things to try and do. if i ever do understand what the stuff with the stuff does and how to use it, i’m sure my photos will suffer more than benefit, ha ha. that them there’s a postman butterly, i reckon.

i’m not sure if that is the correct demonym but oh well. i haven’t posted a photo in a while and forgot i that ever even took this.
astonishingly enough, someone was once brave enough to ask me to play photographer for a night. my primary purpose to was to take some shots of the food that was catered; secondarily, i was to capture some moments of the event where the food was served. i guess my little point and shoot gave away that i was no pro, hahahahahaa. it was lots of fun though (and i’m no longer a photographer-for-hire-virgin!!!) and i think the shots turned out ok…but then again whaddu aye know bout diamonds photography??
so here’s a wacky train of thought: my hankering for posting a photo took me through some oldies like this one. i just saw chris rock’s kill the messenger in which he rocks out to some no doubt hilariously. if you know no doubt, you can probably put the rest together. kind of like the logic in cockney rhyming or some shite, in’it? probably not. spiderweb in caledon.
