I really like the simplicity to this. The bubble text is the complete opposite of the black thermometer. The only thing I would change would be to make the thermometer red to emphasize how hot it’s suppose to be,

Thanks Ashley! I actually do my best to stick to doing as little as possible with these to convey the idea. I only employ colour when there’s really no better alternative.
